that allows you to convert and merge image files into a PDF document,
individually or in a batch operation. Today, we have found an awesome open source PDF tool, named PDF Split And Merge, that allows you to merge and split PDF documents. Even though there are a lot of tools that can split and merge PDF documents, such as 7-PDF Split & Merge and iPDF Express,
PDF Split And Merge also gives you the option to Alternate Mix PDFs,
Rotate page of PDF documents in batch, Visual Document Composer and
Visual Reorder to delete, arrange and rotate the pages of a PDF document
with the help of thumbnails. The application also allows you to
maintain a log of everything that it has done. Moreover, you can change
the theme, look and feel and language of the program to match your

All the functions of PDF Split And Merge are neatly divided into separate tabs accessible from the left side of the interface. PDF Files can be added for manipulation by just dragging and dropping them over the main area. Once the files are added, you have the options to move them up and down and select a custom destination for the output file to save the new document.
All the plugins are accessible from the left side, and include Alternate Mix (to mix two documents with alternative pages), Merge/Extract (to merge multiple documents into one), Rotate (to rotate the document pages in batch), Split (to split a document using various split options, such as Burst, Split Even Pages, Split Odd Pages etc), Visual Document Composer (to create a new document using selected pages from different PDFs and Visual Reorder (to change the position and rotation of pages and delete them from a document).
The Settings menu lets you change the Language, Look and Feel, Theme, Log Level, Thumbnails Creator, Default Environment and Default Working Directory of the application.
The application has a memory foot print of 308 MB and works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
